* Forum Sponsorships -  The Forum sponsorship panel will consist of a 10-minute employer presentation (includes slides) or a fire-side chat with questions equaling 10-minutes (does not include slides). For the presentation, provide an employer client (health benefits professional) to participate on a speakers’ panel. This employer will share a brief, non-branded case study presentation to include the business case for a solution offering, program strategy, outcomes and key-takeaways. MBGH requires the forum sponsor to confirm their employer client at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled event (Annual Conference timeline is 13 weeks prior). Preference is an in-person speaker. If not available, a request can be made to provide a virtual presenter (MBGH approval will be required). The employer speaker does not need to be a MBGH member nor located in the Midwest.

The changing landscape of treating obesity as a disease demands strategic attention from employers. Even though obesity is intertwined with multiple chronic conditions, stigma and bias often get in the way of providing an evidence-based approach to obesity management. Employers are increasingly being asked to consider pharmacological interventions along with traditional behavioral health programs to manage obesity in their employee population. The question for many employers is, “Can this be done in a cost-effective manner?” Learn more about this year's event. An agenda will be available soon. In 2023, the event topic was obesity and 108 people attended this hybrid event.
